On April 26, 2016 at approximately 7:35 p.m., Camp Hill Police Department were on patrol in the 2100 block of Page Street and did observe a group of individuals, both adults and pre-teens who were wearing orange vests, soliciting in the neighborhood. Officers did speak with the adults to let them know that they were not in compliance with the Borough Ordinance for soliciting, as they did not have permits and also they were out after the allowed hours. Upon identifying the individuals it was learned that a 38 year old male with a York address had a warrant out of Lancaster County. The male was detained and taken to Cumberland County Prison to be picked up by Lancaster County. All others were sent on their way after being told the Soliciting regulations of Camp Hill Borough.
