On December 5, 2017, at or about 9:36 a.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched together with EMS to the 200 block of South 17th Street for a possible heroin overdose. Investigation resulted in Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Drunk charges to be filed on a 46 year old male with a Camp Hill address
On December 4, 2017, or about 4:21 p.m., Camp Hill Police Department did receive information from Classic Firearms that a person did falsify information on his application to purchase a firearm. Investigation resulted Unsworn Falsification to Authorities charge to be filed on a 44 year old male with an East Pennsboro address.
On November 30, 2017 at or about 5:18 p.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched to the first block of North 24th Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. Investigation ongoing.
On November 29, 2017 at or about 12:53 a.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched the check the area of Cumberland Blvd for a reckless driver heading towards the Borough. Officers did locate the vehicle and did conduct a traffic stop on same. Investigation resulted in Driving Under the Influence charges to be filed on a 29 year old male with a Nebraska address.
On November 24, 2017, at or about 9:59 a.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched to the 100 block of South 16th Street for a non active theft. The victim reported two bicycles and a set of keys were taken from her property . Investigation ongoing
On November 21, 2017 at or about 4:22 p.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched to the 3400 block of Hawthorne Drive for a domestic. Investigation did result in Simple Assault charges being filed on 49 year old male with a Camp Hill address.
On November 14, 2017 at or about 7:25 p.m, Camp Hill Police were dispatched to South 21st Street and Dickinson Avenue for a reckless driver. Camp Hill Police did witness the driver almost strike a pedestrian in the crosswalk and the driver fled from police. The driver was stopped and charged with Fleeing and Eluding, Driving Under the Influence, Resisting arrest and Driving Under Suspension, DUI related. The driver was a 35 year old male with a Carlisle address.
On November 14, 2017 at or about 10:11 a.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched to 3301 Trindle Road, Giant Food Store, to meet with loss prevention regarding a Retail Theft. Investigation resulted in Retail Theft charges being filed on a 34 year old male with a Carlisle address.
On November 14, 2017 at or about 8:07 p.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Chestnut Street for a forced entry burglary. Investigation is ongoing.
On November 3, 2017 at or about 7:45 a.m., Camp Hill Police Department officers were working the football game at Siebert Park when a male pulled up in a vehicle and asked where he could park. Officers did notice an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. Investigation resulted in Driving Under the Influence charges to be filed on a 57 year old male with a Mechanicsburg address. Endangering the Welfare of Children charges were also filed as he had minors in the vehicle.
On October 29, 2017, at or about 12:45 p.m., Camp Hill Police Department was dispatched to the Giant Food Store, 3301 Trindle Road, for a subject who has been loitering and sleeping in the café for several days and he had been told to leave and will not comply. Camp Hill Police did respond and did identify the subject and through investigation it was learned that he had committed Retail Theft. Subsequently Retail Theft charges were filed on a 51 year old male with a Carlisle address.
On 10/22/17 at 5:58 P.M. the Camp Hill Police Department took a report of a bike theft at the Giant, 3301 Trindle Road. Two juveniles left their bikes unlocked near the entrance to the store while they went inside. An older white male exited the store and took one of the bikes, which was a black and green Trek Dual Sport Mountain Bike. He was last seen riding west on Trindle Road. Investigation to continue.
