December 4, 2016

On December 4, 2016 at or about 2:56 p.m. Camp Hill Police Department were dispatched to Boscov’s Department Store for a suspect making a fraudulent return.  Upon arrival the suspect fled from the officer.  The suspect was identified through investigation as a 54 year old male with a Harrisburg address, and he was charged with Fleeing and Eluding, Theft by Deception and Reckless Driving.

November 29, 2016

On November 29, 2016 at or about 3:16 p.m. Camp Hill Police Department officers did respond to a retail theft in progress.  The actor(s) assaulted the loss prevention officer and fled the scene.  All individuals were identified and charged with Retail Theft, Robbery, Simple Assault, Theft of Movable Property and Vandalism.  These charges were filed on a 25 year old male, a 21 year old male and an 18 year old female all with Harrisburg addresses.

 

November 25, 2016

On November 25, 2016, at or about 7:58 p.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched to the area of Harvard Avenue and South 32nd Street for persons arguing in the roadway.  Through investigation it was learned that there was a minor traffic accident which resulted in a confrontation between the parties.  As a result harassment charges were filed on a 23 year female with a Lemoyne address and Simple Assault charges were filed on a 37 year old male with a Camp Hill address.

November 23, 2016

On November 23, 2016, at or about 3:19 p.m., Camp Hill Police were dispatched to LA Fitness at 3321 Trindle Road for a theft.  Investigation revealed that cash was taken from a wallet in a locker and a gray sweatshirt was also missing from the locker.  Investigation is ongoing.

November 22, 2016

On November 22, 2016, at or about 7:16 a.m., Camp Hill Police did conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic signal violation at South 32nd Street and Chestnut Street.  Investigation resulted in Driving Under the Influence as well as Driving Under Suspension charges being filed on a 37 year old male with a Harrisburg address.

November 20, 2016

On November 20, 2016, at or about 3:14 a.m., Camp Hill Police did conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle displaying illegal window tint in the 1900 block of Market Street.  Investigation resulted in Driving Under the Influence, Weapon Law Violation and an Open Container violation being filed on a 33 year old male with a Maryland address

November 19, 2016

On November 19, 2016 at or about 2:40 a.m.,  Camp Hill Police did conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle who was swerving all over the road in the 1600 block of Market Street.  Investigation resulted in Driving Under the Influence charges being filed on a 33 year old male with a New Cumberland address.

November 17, 2016

On November 17, 2016 at or about 7:38 p.m., Camp Hill Police Department was dispatched to the 100 block of South 18th Street for a motor vehicle accident.  Accident investigation resulted in Driving under the Influence charges being filed on a 61 year old female with a Camp Hill address.

On November 17, 2016 at or about 8:55 p.m., Camp Hill Police Department was dispatched to the area of South 32nd Street and Trindle Road for a motor vehicle accident.  Investigation resulted in Driving under the Influence charges being filed on a 20 year old male with a Lemoyne address.

November 15, 2016

On November 15, 2016 at or about 7:10 a.m., Camp Hill Police did receive a phone call regarding an auto theft in the 100 block of North 17th Street.  Investigation revealed the vehicle was taken overnight.  The vehicle was unlocked and there was a spare key left in the vehicle.   Investigation ongoing in this case.

November 11, 2016

On November 11, 2016, at or about 9:41 a.m. Camp Hill Police Department did receive paperwork regarding the attempted purchase of a gun from Classic Firearms by a person who had a record which prohibited him from possessing a firearm.  Subsequently Unsworn Falsification to Authorities and Disorderly Conduct charges were filed on a 62 year old male with an Enola address.
