On May 29, 2016, at or about 2:27 a.m., Camp Hill Police Department did conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle which was weaving all over the roadway and driving reckless on South 32nd Street towards Harvard Avenue. Investigation resulted in Driving Under the Influence, Drugs and Driving Under Suspension charges to be filed on a 28 year old male with a Mechanicsburg address.
On May 28, 2016, at or about 8:48 p.m., the Camp Hill Police Department did receive information from the Shiremanstown Police Department regarding a male driving a vehicle who was to be intoxicated. The vehicle was to be heading towards Camp Hill Borough. Officers did locate the vehicle in the 1700 block of Market Street. Investigation resulted in Driving Under the Influence Charges being filed on a 51 year old male with a Shiremanstown address.
On May 25, 2016, at or about 10:39 a.m., Camp Hill Police Department did respond to the area of North 32nd Street and Market Street for a reported hit and run accident. The striking vehicle was located in the 200 block of North 21st Street. Investigation resulted in Driving Under the Influence Charges being filed on a 29 year old female with a Camp Hill address.
On May 24, 2016, at or about 11:30 a.m., Camp Hill Police Department did receive information from a male in the Camp Hill Shopping Center parking lot that two males tried to sell him speakers from the back of a white minivan with a Louisiana registration. The shopping center parking lot was checked, the van was located and citations where filed for Borough Ordinance – Soliciting without a Permit on two males, one 22 and one 28 with Maryland addresses.
On May 23, 2016, at or about 2:06 p.m., the Camp Hill Police Department did respond to a report of suspicious activity in the Rite Aid parking lot, 3200 Market Street. Upon investigation and identification of the persons, it was learned one 34 year old male with an Ohio address, had an active warrant from Ohio. He was charged with Fugitive from Justice and transported to Cumberland County Prison to be picked up by Ohio.
On May 18, 2016, at or about 3:15 p.m., Camp Hill Police Department did receive a call from Loss Prevention at the Boscov’s Department Store, for a report of a retail theft. Loss Prevention advised there were two female suspects and provided a vehicle registration. The females were identified and charged with Retail Theft, one being a 29 year old female with an Enola address. The other was a 40 year old female with a New Cumberland address.
On May 17, 2016, Camp Hill Police Department did take several complaints from residents regarding vehicle entries and items taken from vehicles. Investigation into these thefts is ongoing.
On May 17, 2016, Camp Hill Police Department received a call from a male who was doing landscaping work in the area of the 2000 block of Columbia Avenue. The male advised that he took his blower from the rear of his vehicle and sat it behind his vehicle and went to the back yard to finish the mulch. He was gone maybe 10 minutes and when he returned the blower was gone. Investigation ongoing.
On May 16, 2016, Camp Hill Police Department were investigating a domestic incident in the 100 block of North 21st Street. Investigation led to Simple Assault charges being filed on a 34 year old male with a Camp Hill address.
On May 9, 2016, Camp Hill Police Department did receive a call for a motor vehicle accident at North 32nd Street and Market Street. It was learned that the striking vehicle had fled the scene. An investigation was conducted which resulted in Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle and Driving Under Suspension charges were filed on a 28 year old male with a Harrisburg address.
On May 11, 2016 at approximately 0333 hours Camp Hill Police located a male in Siebert Park after the park was closed. An investigation revealed that the male was under the influence of a controlled substance. This resulted in an 18 year old male with a Camp Hill address being cited for Public Drunkeness.
