PennDOT Traffic Adaptive System Changes

We wanted to advise our residents that effective, Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at or about 9:00 a.m. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will be implementing the Traffic Adaptive System on all of the traffic lights on the Camp Hill Bypass and the traffic lights at 34th and Market Streets. During the implementation period there may be delays and unusual traffic patterns. This is expected and it should work itself out. This system is being used to try to monitor a traffic flow and to determine where the traffic backs up and to allow the signals to change to allow for a better flow of traffic. PLEASE NOTE: the Camp Hill Borough Police are aware of this System being implemented and will make frequent checks of the area.
